About Joanne

Joanne Cooper has a life-long passion for health and wellness. She left the corporate world in 2010 and then followed her dreams and opened a small fitness studio in Toronto’s east end to share her knowledge and love of fitness as a canfitpro Personal Training Specialist. She quickly gained a loyal clientele, leading energetic and challenging classes with a focus on form, cardio and muscular strength and balance.

After moving to Presqu’ile in 2018, Joanne intensified her yoga practice and has since graduated from Amrita Living Yoga’s 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training program.

Joanne encourages students to learn and choose what is best for them and guides her students in achieving their personal best, both on and off the mat. She is always learning, both from other instructors and from all the students she has had the pleasure of guiding.

Being able to pursue her dreams and run a fitness and yoga studio at the water’s edge in Presqu’ile is something she is grateful for every day.
